The Zilco Elite Single Breastplate is a traditional style breastplate, similar in construction to the ZGB model, but it does not have in-built traces. It is fitted with 50 mm (2″) stainless steel trace buckles. The breastplate is 10 cm (4″) wide and comes with soft, detachable padding featuring rounded edges for the horse’s comfort.
The padded wither strap features adjustable rein drops, made to Zilco’s own design. This allows them to be positioned at a height suitable for each particular horse, and enables a more direct line of contact with the horse’s mouth.
